Pressed concrete pilings are the most widely used method for foundation repairs in the D/FW area. The reason they are so widely used is because they are the most economical pier that comes with a lifetime warranty.
Pressed concrete pilings are installed through a hand dug hole using a hydraulic ram and the weight of the house. They are installed to refusal (as deep as they can physically go). Refusal (maximum depth) varies from neighborhood to neighborhood. Once they reach refusal, there is a “fine tuning” lifting process. Our goal it to get your house as close to its original position as possible. The majority of the time, all work can be done from the outside of the home. In the event interior piers are needed, B Square will take all of the precautions to minimize the “mess” inside the home.
All pressed concrete pilings come with a lifetime transferable warranty.
A pressed steel piling is the best pier on the market, but doesn’t usually make financial sense. They are only necessary in very rare situations. They are installed through hand dug holes. The pressed steel piling is a “dual wall” wall steel pipe driven to refusal. Once the steel pipes have been driven to refusal, a “fine tuning” lifting process is done. Our goal is to get your house as close to its original position as possible. All steel pilings come with a lifetime transferable warranty.
